From Lords cricket ground to central saint martins, Spitalfields market, and the rest of the world.

THE ARTIST

St. Lucian born, London raised Artist and Designer Kervin Marc has been creating objects of desire for many years. From his striking and powerfully alive paintings to his exceptional clothing design, Marc has managed to remain one of London’s best kept ‘insider “secrets for many years by creating custom pieces for the fashion forward, set with a timeless, yet sophisticated utilitarian style that is always on trend. This all began from Marc curating a stall at Spitalfields Market in London’s East End over a decade ago, to now styling A-List celebrities and designing costumes for West End productions.

Following a brief career as a professional cricketer, Marc went on to study Product/Industrial Design at Central St. Martins. This provided an opportunity to explore the full expression of his art-focused world view, informed by the contrast of friction and beauty that inhabit our world now more than at any other time in history. Where his painting style came naturally, Marc approached fashion differently, wanting to ensure he mastered every aspect of pattern making and sewing, to display his artistry across different mediums. A key attraction of his Notting Hill boutique where he invites people to step into his studio and share his vision.

OUR STORY

With sustainability and upcycling being the buzzwords of the moment, Kervin has thrived within these specialisms over the last decade through collaborative sustainability projects such as TAGFREE, where Marc uses army surplus up-cycling to take us through a journey of deconstructed art by reimagining clothes.

First opened as a shared concept space with Four Store Terrariums on Westbourne Grove, the locals gradually discovered the brand and helped it expand to become the first standalone ‘Kervin Marc Boutique’, home and atelier of his signature namesake fashion label. Marc previews select artwork outside of the design & art projects he has exhibited in art galleries and up-market retailers across London, New York, Paris, Milan and Tokyo.
